Gary
Hi Gary here again, Further to my last post, things have progressed very quickly in the area of First Swing Golf Clinics. The country regions will be an ongoing program, as I alluded to previously. What is now happening, is that I am about to take First Swing Golf Clinics to Tasmania. I shall be arriving in Tasmania at the end of April, and will be working in conjunction with the Tasmanian Amputee Society and Golf Pro, David Cramp, from Country Club Tasmania. The very 1st First Swing Golf Clinic will be held on the 28th April at the Country Club Tasmania in Launceston, from 10am until 12pm; from 12pm until 1pm will be a break for lunch (not provided), and a second clinic will run from 1pm until 3pm. To book for clinics contact David Cramp on 6335 5740 or Gary Hart on 0417 894 557; you can also register in the calendar section of this website. For all you good people in Tasmania viewing the website, you will be able to go to the home page, click on First Swing Golf Clinics, and view the poster with contact details. There will also be announcements in local newspapers and on radio stations. My thanks go out to the Tasmanian Amputee Society, Country Club Tasmania and David Cramp, residential Pro. See you all out there, you little devils! Please don't hesitate to get in touch. Regards, For more information about the Naracoorte Golf Club, please contact Michael Justin (Club Pro) on 8762 4521. Hi, Gary Hart here, President S.A.A.G.A., As you all know I've been trying to organise amputees in country regions of South Australia so I can expand the First Swing Golf Clinics outside of Adelaide. I am currently in discussions with the Naracoorte Golf Club to start holding First Swing Golf Clinics in that region with their residential Golf Pro and myself. I've also been in touch with radio station, FloFM, and there are regular advertisments going to air, where people can contact the radio station or myself for information about the clinics. Hopefully this will eventually become as popular as the First Swing Golf Clinics in Adelaide so that we can hold some City vs Country mini golf tournaments leading up to the 2nd South Australian Amputee Golf Tournament in November 2009. Watch this space..... Regards, |
