Hi Gary here,

Just a reminder to you good people - please go to Albums (click top or bottom), then click on the link at the bottom ('click here for music with slide show'). You'll be reminded how courageous and determined you Amputees are. Great song too, don't forget to turn your speakers up. :o)

Please also read Aidan's golf story. Aidan started First Swing Golf Clinics at the age of 12 and is now 15.

Enjoy,

Gary

Hi there,

There have been questions asked !!!!?

As members of SAAGA, do we get discount at the QAGA - Australian Amputee Golf Opens ?

I, Gary Hart, will guarantee any SAAGA member wishing to participate in the Qld - Australian Amputee Golf Opens a discount on entry fees bringing it to the going price that the QAGA members will pay.

Please contact me with your interest; I urge all members of SAAGA to make the effort and take this opportunity to participate in another Amputee Golf Open.

At SAAGA, we try to support our members, and we will.

Kind regards,

Gary Hart.
President

Dear Members & Overseas Visitors,

Just a quick note to wish you all a safe and enjoyable festive season.

Also to let you know that Gary and I will be starting our First Swing and rehabilitation Clinic visits in Adelaide and regional areas of South Australia in the early part of the New Year to encourage participants to start the year in an active and positive manner.

We have also been approached to develop First Swing Clinics in Western Australia in the New Year, which we will organise as part of our schedule.

We will be setting up a standard format for revisiting our clinics in Tasmania, Mt Gambier, Naracoorte, Whyalla and Port Augusta to keep the support going for these regional and interstate areas where the response has been very positive to date.

We are looking at making contact with each region's chief prosthetist at the hospitals, to strengthen their support for what we are trying to achieve. The areas of discussion being the way to encourage participations and information flow.

We are also considering taking a team from Adelaide to challenge the regional amputees in the near future.

Gary and I will look at visiting other regional towns promoting the First Swing Clinics and offering this opportunity to every amputee and disable person.
