Peter Small

Age: 49

Sex: Male

Amputation Type: Above Knee

Marital Status: Married to Trish with our 14 y.o. daughter, Ashleigh

We are currently living at the Sandhurst Golf & Residential Estate in Melbourne, and we will be relocating to the Greg Norman Development 'Settlers Run' a short distance away in the not too distant future.

Occupation: Warranty Manager for a metropolitan BMW Dealership in Victoria

My amputation was due to a motorcycle accident in June 1989, where a car did a RH turn into me which resulted in a broken femur and crushed lower leg.

I have been playing golf for the past 8 years and play off 23, my wife and I play at least once a week during in winter, and more so in summer.

Golf Achievements

My playing partner and I were the Winners of the Inaugural, 'Australia Day Trophy' at our home Golf Club 'Sandhurst'.

I have competed in 2 Amputee Association Tournaments; The 2007 Australian Amputee Open where I was the Net Leader on Day 1 with a '68', and I finished in 3rd Place in the Above Knee Section.

I also played at the Inaugural Vic Open at Tirhatuan Park where I was playing well on the 1st day at least to be the Net Leader.

I look forward to catching up with everyone at the SA Open!
